Secret rehearsal gigs

Tomorrow night we'll play our first show in a long while! 

The SousSol, which will host the series of wam-up / rehearsal gigs, is the ideal place for us to get back into playing live again. 

Ever since I first entered the club some time ago, I immediately knew that this was it. It's pleasant to the point you feel at home right away. 

As a musician, this is how you want to rehearse (and perform). 

It even has sofas on both sides of the stage. And there's a huge bar, where the owners showed us how to make espresso for ourselves. What a treat. You'll love it too, if you pop over for one of the shows. 

We started rehearsing this morning and man it feels good to be back on stage.

What's the Holdup?

The long wait is almost over! Our new single What's the Holdup? will be released in late May. We're very excited to finally share it with you.

Broken Bones

Here's a preview of our plans for the coming weeks as it appeared in the Freiburger Nachrichten on Saturday.

Unfortunately we'll have to postpone those rehearsal gigs because both Bene and I had to be hospitalized last week.

I think I was hit worse ;-), but the fact is that Bene won't be able to carry a bass, much less a tune, before early March!

We'll announce alternate dates shortly.

Last Friday

Last Friday we had a photo shooting with photographer Sebastian Magnani. The pictures will be used as part of the upcoming single release.

Recall

Today Clint Murphy, our recording and mixing engineer, did a recall of one of the songs and made some changes. Nothing major, but we thought it would make a difference.

He then sent the new mix over and we okayed it via e-mail. It was great before, now it's perfect. It was definitely worth it. We're very pleased indeed!
